Pineapple Juice

Vitamins & Minerals in Pineapple Juice

Many pineapple juices are fortified with Vitamin C. Vitamin C is needed for the growth and repair of cells and is important for immune function. Pineapple juice is also a good source of potassium. Potassium is essential for managing the body’s fluid balance, supporting healthy blood pressure, nerve and muscle function.

Pineapple provides vitamin B1 (thiamin) and vitamin B6, which facilitate energy metabolism in the body. Additionally, pineapple juice has been known to contain vitamins B2 and B3.1,2 Crucial body systems, such as the nervous and muscular systems, rely on these B-complex vitamins to function properly.1,3

Pineapple juice may contain up to 73% of the daily requirement for Manganese, which is a trace mineral that aids in building strong bones and connective tissues. It also contains copper, which supports healthy blood pressure and the absorption of iron.3

Some pineapple juices are fortified with vitamins A and E and calcium. Check your label to determine the daily value in your favorite pineapple juice.
