Grapefruit Juice

Vitamins & Minerals in Grapefruit Juice

Grapefruit juice is a good source of vitamin C and thiamin (vitamin B1). Vitamin C is crucial for the growth and repair of cells. It also helps build strong bones, healthy teeth, skin, and cartilage, and supports a healthy immune system. Thiamin, also known as vitamin B1, helps the body process energy from the food we eat and is important for muscle function and a healthy nervous system.

In addition, some grapefruit juice is fortified with calcium.  Calcium helps build and maintain strong teeth and bones.

Naringin

Naringin is a plant compound found in grapefruit juice. Research shows it may exert anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular protection activities.

Potential Health Benefits of Grapefruit Juice

Regular consumption of grapefruit juice by middle-aged, healthy postmenopausal women has been found to support cardiovascular health.
