Fall Apple Sangria

Sangrias are not just for summertime. With sweet and tangy apples and apple juice, this white wine sangria is light and lovely for sipping all autumn and winter long.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes (+ 1 hour chilling time)
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups dry white wine
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup each chopped red and green apple, diced
1/2 cup raspberries
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 cinnamon stick
Ice cubes
1 cup soda water
Instructions:
1. In large pitcher, stir together wine, apple juice, red and green apple, raspberries, lemon slices and cinnamon stick. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours or until chilled.
2. To serve, stir in ice and immediately pour into 4 glasses. Top with soda water.
Tips:
• Honeycrisp and Granny Smith apples add a good balance of apple flavor.
• Sweeten with 2 tbsp sugar if desired.
• Alternatively, substitute ginger ale for soda water.
