2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee Report Highlights the Value of 100% Juice 

The Scientific Report of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC), published in December 2024, reinforces the important role of 100% fruit juice in supporting overall fruit intake. The report recognizes that 100% juice provides essential vitamins and nutrients and contributes positively to a balanced diet. The DGAC found no evidence linking 100% juice consumption with adverse effects on growth, body composition, or obesity risk in children, adolescents, or adults. 

The Juice Products Association (JPA) submitted both written and oral comments in response to the report to ensure that science supporting juice’s role in a healthy diet is highlighted.
