Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 6 tbsp sugar any sugar, or agave or coconut palm sugar
  • 6 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch arrowroot
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce

Veggie Bowl Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked brown rice can use frozen or instant brown rice
  • 1  crown crown broccoli roughly chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper any color, roughly chopped
  • 6  green onions
  • 2 cups pineapple roughly chopped, or use canned tidbits
  • 12  oz firm tofu roughly chopped


  • Whisk the sauce ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Place a large, nonstick pan or wok on medium-high heat.

  • Add the veggie bowl ingredients to the sauce one at a time, stir-frying for a minute or two after each addition.
  • For an easy garnish, top with fresh green onion and toasted sesame seeds.
